About us

Sappor & Agyekwena is a wholly Ghanaian owned private Accounting, Auditing, Business Consultancy, Tax Consultancy and Secretarial partnership serving clients in Government, Business, Industry and Education. Sappor & Agyekwena has its head office in Accra and a branch in Tamale, The firm has a staff of 25 including 8 professionals. We are staffed to serve every type of organisation, including Private and Public Corporations, State and Local Agencies and Departments, Partnerships and Joint ventures, Municipalities, Regulatory bodies, Non-profit organisations, Professional and Trade Associations.

Sappor & Agyekwena, Chartered Accountants was registered as an Accounting Firm on 1st December, 1989 and started Practice in
1992. Mr. R N Sappor and Mr J B Agyekwena got to know each other when they were both Trainees in the then Deloitte, Haskins & Sells, Chartered Accountants Accra. Developing a timeless friendship  when they both qualified as Chartered Accountants in 1986, they decided to register the company. Mr. Richard K. N. Sappor who was the Managing Partner of the Accra and Mr John B Agyekwena is the Managing Partner of the Tamale Office.

We sadly lost Mr R. N Sappor in January 2020 and then his daughter Suzzette Sappor, who has been groomed for birth is now the managing Partner.   Our qualified staff are members of recognised professional bodies in Ghana and have post qualification experience ranging between 5 and 10 years.
Our firm is engaged in a number of Accounting, Auditing Business Consultancy, Secretarial and Tax Consulting assignments. We provide statutory, secretarial and other business services including the filing of company returns and processing of business permits application,
We also provide liaison with Government Ministries including the Registrar General’s Department. We act as advisors on all aspects of tax matters to individuals, companies and organisations.
